Young Design Entrepreneur of Turkey
International Young Design Entrepreneur Competion which was realized for the first time this year,
under the sponsorship of VitrA, one of the brands of Eczacıbaşı Group of Companies, and
with the cooperation of the British Council and Istanbul Modern Arts Museum,
has been finalized with the award ceremony held last night at British Consulate General.
Almost 50 applicants participated to the competion with various creative ideas related to different
design disciplines. Following the pre-evaluation phase 12 finalists were determined.
Those 12 finalists presented their ideas on design entrepreneurship to the jury, including internationally
well known designer Mr. Ron Arad and competed on July 3, 2008, Thursday.
