ETMK “Winners by Design” Exhibition and Awards 2006
The “Winners by Design” ETMK 2006 Design Exhibition was realized within the
MarketingIST 2006 Marketing Fair under the sponsorship of Turkish Exporters’
Assembly (TIM) and Tifaş. 66 products from 12 sectors participated to the
exhibition. Further to the eveluation of the assessment committee formed of
Prof. Dr. İlhan Erhan, Assoc. Prof. Füsun Curaoğlu, Prof. Dr.
Alpay Er, Sertaç Ersayın, Hakan Gencol, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gülay Hasdoğan, Assoc. Prof. Yavuz
Irmak, Assoc. Prof. Fatma Korkut and Assoc. Prof. Can Özcan, five products were presented with the “Winners by Design” ETMK 2006
Award.
Gabbiano washbasin, designed by: Nagehan and Kerim Kılıçarslan, RepTILE Series of
Tile, designed by: Can Yalman Design, Istanbul Series Tea Glass, designed by Faruk
Malhan, 3220 TFT LCD TV designed by Pilotfish Industrial Design Group and
manufactured by Vestel company, and Thea light switch series, designed by Mirzat
Koç Design received the Winners with Design ETMK 2006 Award.
The award winning designs were also exhibited in Istanbul Technical University
Taşkışla Exhibition Hall no. 102, together with the design exhibition “Global-Local
Helsinki” including examples of modern Finnish design (organized with the
contribution of the Embassy of Finland).
