Strategical Plan Workshops
ETMK has adopted a sharing and transparent management understanding in order to build up the institutional objective and strategies together with its members. In order to develop its strategic plan together with its members, ETMK organized a series of six civil society workshops with the support of Civil Society Development Center (STGM), between June 2006 and November 2007 in Ankara, Eskişehir, İstanbul and İzmir. The following workshops were realized with the supervision of the President of Civil Society Development Center (STGM) Dr. Levent Korkut:
• How do its members perceive ETMK? The workshop was realized in order to form communication strategies together with its members in Ankara Neva Palas Hotel, on June 17, 2006.
• Vision Workshop. The workshop was realized with the support of Turkish Exporters Assembly and hosted by Anadolu University Department of Industrial Design in Eskişehir on October 14-15, 2006.
• Mission Workshop. The workshop was realized with the support of Turkish Exporters Assemby which also hosted the event in Istanbul, on December 23-24, 2006.
• Strategies for Strengths and Weaknesses. The Workshop was realized with the support of Central Anatolian Exporter Unions and hosted by Civil Society Development Centre on February 24 – 25, 2007.
• Strategies for Opportunities and Threats. The workshop was hosted by Izmir University of Economics Faculty of Fine Arts and Design on June 30 – July 1, 2007.
• Strategic Plan. The workshop was hosted by Middle East Technical University Faculty of Architecture Department of Industrial Design on November 24-25, 2007.
