Designers' Odyssey '98: Adventure of Turkish Designers
On November 1998, under the main sponsorship of Nurus Company, ETMK realized the second of Designers’ Odyssey ’98: Adventure of Turkish Designers exhibition at Tüyap Beylikdüzü fairground. 256 products by 107 designers and around 150 student projects participated in the exhibition. An international selection committee awarded three products with the ETMK’98 Product Design Award whereas four projects received the ETMK’98 Encouragement Award. Karizma washbasin series by Mehmet Yavaş for Toprak Ceramics, Delfino vacuum cleaner by Senur Design Group for Arzum and water heater by Sertaç Ersayın and Ilgaz Kuruyazıcı from Demirdöküm Design Group received the Product Design Awards.
